Tandoori Prawns Recipe / Tandoori Shrimps

Tandoori prawns recipe is a very simple and easy recipe and you will get the most delicious prawns. Here I have used big, farm and juicy prawns and marinated them with the magical Indian spices I have used the latest Innovation in cooking the versatile halogen oven.

Halogen oven

Halogen oven has used a special halogen heating element in the lid of the machine to heat the device faster than convection oven and a fan inside the machine provides better air circulation and even cooking. even though a halogen oven differs from the conventional oven in many aspects it is quite easy to bake any standard dish in this handy and very versatile machine. Halogen oven has shorter cooking time then convection oven. A halogen oven uses half the electricity consumption as compared to a convection oven. You can cook healthy, delicious food in less time because baking and roasting is a better option than frying.

  1. Peeled prawns – 500 gms
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 1 Tbsp
  3. Kashmiri red chilli powder – 2 Tsp
  4. Coriander powder – 1 Tsp
  5. Cumin powder – 1 Tsp
  6. Gram flour – 2 Tbsp
  7. Black salt –  1/2 Tsp
  8. Carom seeds – 1/2 Tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Pinch of red food colour
  11. Lime juice – 1 Tbsp
  12. Tomato sauce – 1 Tbsp
  13. Hung crud – 2 Tbsp
  14. Tandoori masala – 1 Tsp
  15. Kasuri methi – 1 Tbsp
  16. Cooking oil – 2 Tbsp
  17. Coriander leaves
